CourseShare is an exclusive online destination promoting excellence in teaching by providing free learning materials and is available exclusively to HIM educators who are active AHIMA members of CAHIIM-accredited or PCAP-approved programs or those in candidacy. CourseShare is a peer-reviewed repository of materials and resources to enhance teaching strategies and support faculty professional development.
- Learning activities include lectures, activities, quizzes, assessments and content specific presentations
- Faculty Development and program resources such as the PPE Tool Kit and Suggested Activities, AHIMA HIM Curricula Competencies and Curriculum Tool Kit, Professional Development recommended reading list and a listing of free instructional tools
- Journal of AHIMA quizzes (for instructional use only)

Assembly on Education (AOE) Engage Community
A private academic community in the AHIMA Engage Communities, this forum is where educators can start discussion threads with each other and share resources. This resource is available exclusively to HIM educators who are active AHIMA members.
Access to the AOE Engage Community will be granted if the following criteria are met.
- Program is accredited by CAHIIM or in candidacy status,
- Requestor is an active member of AHIMA,
- Requestor is a faculty member with a ".edu" email address and designated program director attests to current faculty status.
- If the program is not accredited by CAHIIM nor in candidacy status, a request for access must be accompanied by a "letter of intent" to apply for CAHIIM accreditation on school letterhead and signed by the Dean of the School (or comparable authorized individual) and the Program Director.

A series of workforce flyers targeted at students and employers are available for digital download at no cost to educators. These flyers provide information and best practices on educating and expanding the HIM professional workforce and the need for qualified HIM professionals. Three student versions are available, focusing on:
- Traditional students who have gone to college straight from high school
- Career changers working in an unrelated area and interested in transitioning to HIM
- Career changers in a related profession, such as IT or another healthcare discipline, and interested in transitioning to HIM
There are also brochures for current HIM professionals and for employers.
Perspectives in Health Information Management (PHIM)
PHIM is a scholarly, peer-reviewed journal, referred to by professors, professionals, public officials, industry leaders, and policy-makers.
